Dabei ist das, was gerade passiert, weder Überraschung noch Versagen. Systeme wie dieses kollabieren nicht, weil sie falsch laufen. Sie kollabieren, weil sie genau so laufen, wie sie sollen, und das auf Dauer nicht trägt.

Der Ausbau des Sicherheitsstaates, mehr Überwachung, mehr Polizei, mehr militärische Logik: Das ist keine Antwort auf die Krise.

Es ist das Geständnis.

Wer seine Legitimität verloren hat, regiert nicht mehr durch Zustimmung. Er regiert durch Kontrolle.
